Feb 2012 - SC21 Bronze Award

Fasteq were awarded SC21 Bronze Status in Feb 2012. Confirmation was communicated via Phil Currock SC21 Project Manager based in London.

John Grant Fasteq's Quality Director who led the initiative during the past 2 years commented: "We are delighted that Fasteq have been awarded the SC21 Bronze Status Award and see it as real recognition of the efforts that all of our staff have put in towards implementing improvements in all areas of our business. Already we are seeing real tangible benefits from the changes we have made as part of the SC21 process, surpassing all of our expectations and we look forward to continuing on our journey towards excellence".

The SC21 programme is a key industry venture for Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space and is overseen, governed and managed by ADS on behalf of UK industry. SC21 aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry. With UK and International competitiveness increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain in SC21 is crucial to delivering key results which the UK strive for, and which SC21 is delivering for its stakeholders.

 

Jan 2012 - Fasteq backs BAE Rochester

After receiving consecutive Silver awards from BAE Systems in recognition of our continued commitment and support to BAE programmes and key business objectives Fasteq had a joint publication in January 2012 edition of the "The Manufacturer" magazine which focuses on Manufacturing News in the UK. http://www.themanufacturer.com/uk/

November 2011 - New Appointment - Alan Clark

Due to the continued expansion at Fasteq the board are delighted to announce the strategic appointment of a new Sales Manager for the southern region. Alan comes from an automotive background and has extensive experience within Fasteq's marketplace as well as other industry sectors.

Commenting on his recent appointement Alan explained "This is a demanding role and I'm excited about the challenges ahead, I look forward to working with the team at Fasteq and developing my position within the company"

Mike Connelly helped unfurl the League Flag at Braidwood Motor Company Stadium at Livingston as Livingston enjoy back to back promotions as winners of SPL League 2 and are looking forward to an equally successful season in the First Division.

JULY 2011 - FASTEQ AWARD FROM BAE SYSTEMS

Fasteq were delighted to receive BAE System's Silver Supplier Status award for 2011. The award issued by Mike Tierney (Operations and Supply Chain Director & Lee Penford (Head Of Procurement) was issued to Fasteq in recognition of their continued commitment and support to BAE programmes and key business objectives.

FASTEQ INVITED TO MEET WITH DTI MINISTER LORD GREEN

Fasteq Managing Director Mike Connelly was invited along to Selex Galileo's Edinburgh facility to meet with Trade and Investment Minister Lord Green along with other SME'S. The purpose of his visit was to look at the importance and capabilites of SME'S within Manufacturing in Scotland and stress the importance of SME's in the support of Selex Galileo.

In April 2011 Fasteq's AS9120 was revised by NQA to allow Inspection and Verification of MS, ISO, DIN, ANSI, BS,NATO, MIL parts offering total peace of mind to our customer base.

April 2011 - Fasteq extend sponsorship of League Winners Livingston FC for the next two seasons

Livingston Football Club has received a timely boost after its main sponsor, Fasteq Ltd, agreed to extend their backing of the club for a further two seasons.

The new deal, which will run until the end of the 2012-13 football season, represents a significant investment in the club by one of its key partners.

An expanding West Lothian business, Fasteq manage the supply of fasteners and components to the engineering, automotive, aerospace and defence industries from their base in Linlithgow.

Long standing commercial supporters, they became main sponsors at the start of the 2009-10 season and have played an integral part in the back to back championship wins achieved by the club over the last two years.
