May 14 2010 - Thales Old Invincibles crowned Champions in the First Ever Charity Sevens Tournament

The Inaugural Fasteq Charity Soccer Sevens Tournament was hailed a great success by all particpants on Friday 14th May. The rain stayed away and the teams turned up on time, well most did anyway. The day got off to a flying start and bonus points being awarded to the majority of the teams that fielded girls. – so well done to you all!. Cruising through to the finals were the host team Fasteq and The Old Invincibles, shown here

celebrating their deserved win. A cheque For £1000 was donated by Fasteq to the winners' chosen Charity; Marie Curie Cancer Care. Monies were also collected for CHAS and ENABLE so thank you to everyone for making the day a complete suceess for everyone. We will keep everyone posted with the date for next years event.

Jan 2010 - Ultrasonic Cleaning Facility

Fasteq are delighted to announce the opening of their new Ultrasonic cleaning facility in Newbridge near Edinburgh.

This new specialist cleaning process will allow Fasteq to supply un-contaminated parts used in safety critical applications within the Medical & Aerospace industry sectors.

The principle of the ultrasonic cleaning process is as follows. Electric transducers are attached to the cleaning tank which generate ultrasound waves that vibrate the cleaning fluid at a very high velocity. Millions of tiny bubbles implode within the solution and penetrate into every orifice of the item being cleaned, removing any dirt and grime within seconds ensuring that parts are totally de-greased an free of any contamination.
